TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS (Babysitting)

GENERAL

Introduction and subsequent engagement of a person introduced by Surrey Childcare is deemed to be an acceptance of our terms of business and agreement to pay the appropriate fee.

All information and introductions supplied by Surrey Childcare are confidential.

Engagement of a babysitter as a nanny by the client at a future date will be chargeable at the current agency placement fee. The agency must be notified of any such arrangement immediately.

FEES

Yearly membership subscription fee £145 (includes 75 text messages)

Half yearly membership subscription fee £85 (includes 35 text messages)

The client pays a membership subscription fee in order to access the online database of babysitters.

Babysitters hourly rates vary and are to be agreed between the client and the babysitter at the time of booking.

Babysitters must be paid directly at the end of a booking.

There is a minimum booking fee of 3 hours.

All memberships are non-refundable.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of a booking must be made to the babysitter at least 24 hours before the booked time.

If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the booked time the client must pay the babysitter the minimum booking fee of 3 hours.

PRIVACY

All introductions are confidential. Passing of any information to a third party will constitute a breach of contract.

Surrey Childcare is registered under the Data Protection Act, and as such will not pass on, share or sell your information to any third parties for any other reasons than those you have consented to.

LIABILITY

Surrey Childcare acts as an introduction agency only and whilst every care and reasonable effort has been made to check that references are genuine, we strongly recommend that clients make their own enquires and checks. The final decision as to the babysitter's suitability rests solely with the client.

Surrey Childcare will not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, damage, expense, delay, costs or compensation (whether direct, indirect or consequential) which may be suffered or incurred by the client arising from or in any way connected with Surrey Childcare seeking a babysitter for the Client.

In the event that a babysitter should earn sufficient income from the client to be liable for Income Tax and National Insurance the client is responsible for making deductions under PAYE. Income tax, national insurance and contracts of employment are the sole responsibility of the client.

The client is responsible for obtaining work permits where necessary.
